Colleen Elizabeth Bullock
Colleen Elizabeth Bullock, age 48, of Sac City, Iowa, died on October 5, 2003. Colleen Elizabeth Enright was born on July 15, 1955, in Springfield, MA, the daughter of Ambrose and Dorothy (Barnes) Enright. She was baptized in the Roman Catholic faith in Springfield, MA, and confirmed in 1968 at St. Justin Martyr Church, in Anaheim, CA. She attended Anaheim grade school through 6th grade, and graduated from Hart High School in Valencia, CA, in 1973. She continued her education, earning a Nursing Associate Degree at Iowa Central Community College, and received her RN on August 7, 2000. Colleen worked in the out patient department, the emergency room, and as a surgical nurse at Loring Hospital. She was a very loving person; her ability to reach out to all types of people with a caring endless spirit will be remembered. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and showed great compassion for those around her. One of her greatest accomplishments was receiving her nursing degree while battling breast cancer. This past July she was a five year cancer survivor. In her free time she enjoyed gardening, antiquing, playing with her dogs, watching sunsets, crafts, and especially watching her children grow up. She loved being involved in all aspects of her children’s numerous activities. Left to mourn are her three children: Nicole Elizabeth Bullock, James Michael Bullock, and Natalie Jean Jo Bullock all of Sac City; her mother Dorothy Enright of Rosamond, CA; and her two sisters: Nancy Jean and her husband Michael J. English of Pleasanton, CA, and Kathleen Ann and her husband Erik Petersen of Rosamond, CA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends including: Jo Remenih, John and Mary Kinkade, Jerry Youll, Dana Grafft, Sally Jo Mason, Paula Wallerstedt, Cheryl Haden, Karen Shull, Leslie Willson, Tina Freese, Margie Sands, Diana Schulte, Michele Suggitt, Kim Borkowski, Richard Smith and Beth Noethe. Her father Ambrose Norton Enright preceded Colleen in death. |
